Tropical Storm

What's up everyone? This week absolutely flew by. It was crazy. We had zone conference this week and it was awesome to see all the missionaries in my zone and talk to them for a while. Plus the free food is awesome. As you guys know I make grilled cheeses or quesadillas for lunch and dinner every day and I love it. Well I have gotten bananas now and added them to the list of food i'll eat. I figured it was time I ate some fruit. I also added these yogurt things, basically a danimals but I could argue better. 

 

 

Other than that not much has happened but investigator Benedicto is on date to get baptized on the 23rd. Im so excited and can't wait. This week instead of playing basketball and teaching a lesson after we decided to take away basketball and see if the kids would come for only a lesson. We had an awesome turnout. I'll have a picture below. We also got the chance to go to an inactive members basketball game. His name is Freiben but you don't pronounce the n. He is probably my best friend out here. He's super funny and way into shoes like me so we talk about shoes, basketball and church. He has come to church twice and has talked to us about serving a mission. He is only 15 so he's got awhile but i'm so excited for him.

 

 

Also this week we got to teach a family with a pet parrot. It talks but it talks in spanish and me and my comp cant understand it but the family does. This family is super poor but they're kids are always running around playing, and just always happy having fun. 

 

 

On monday we got hit by tropical storm julia and it rained a ton and we were told to not go outside (dont worry we are chillin) so we were covid missionaries for a day and did tons of missionary work online. I don't know how covid missionaries did that everyday so shout out to them. But I did find 3 new people that wanna be taught the gospel from facebook that day. Sadly they all live in the city so I won't get to teach them.
