Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've sent out an email, but here I am, and I'm still alive and doing great. This week was a pretty intense and jam-packed week. The rainy season finally hit out here where I'm serving, and it has been non-stop since this week. It usually starts in May but came super late to Moyuta, but it is making up for it now. This week was our president's last week before he is released and goes home. We had zone conference with him two weeks ago, which was awesome, but the branch I'm in got lucky, and he chose to come to our ward for his last Sunday. It was super awesome, and they were pretty emotional to leave everyone. It was also election Sunday for Guatemala, so we had to be in the house at 1. Both of those things also happened to land on my birthday, which was pretty cool. Hey everyone just wanted to send out a short email, this week was really good. Me and my new comp are getting along great and I'm excited to really get to work and find success.  This last week I was in a different area for 2 days because my comp had to go to the city. The area I was in was called ixhuatan. It was a really cool area filled with hills to walk which was terrible.  On Sunday we had a baptism for Mindy which was super exciting. I met Mindy around 3 weeks ago when I was in a trio working with the other elders in my area for a week and a half. She had a baptismal date. It got pushed back a week pushing the baptism to this week and it was awesome.  This Sunday we also had an old missionary who served here around a year ago and finished his mission here come back to the area and give a talk. Everyone here loves him because a year ago in this area the church wasn't a thing and the 5 members had to drive 40 minutes to get to church. a When this elder opened up this...

    Hey everyone sorry it's been awhile I've been doing good and have had some crazy last couple of weeks. Last week my comp got emergency transferred a week before transfers because we had a missionary leave to his assigned mission and I was put in a trio in my same area. It was very unexpected and he was pretty sad to be leaving after 7 months he served here.  The trio was quite the experience as one of them didn't really want to work so it was a lot of trying to convince him to work and get out of the house. I got a chance to work in their area which is an hour and a half walk just to their area then another hour and a half back up. I loved meeting the members there. On the walk down to their area there are tons of mango trees with mangoes ready to eat and the best part was eating fresh mangos all day.
