G Town

Hello everyone, I'm sorry it's been awhile since i have emailed this is my first p day in 2 weeks. I arrived in Guatemala on the 19th which was awesome. I had to say goodbye to some friends that I met in the ccm which was sad but I know they'll do great.      On Tuesday the 20th I got assigned to my area and trainer. I'm serving in Nueva Santa Rosa, Guatemala. It's what they call the country in my mission. A lot of people said it was their favorite area. So far I love it out here and everyone is so nice. Although they don't have much they are so grateful for what they have. Right now we are teaching two people a lot. The first kid is named Benedicto and he is 11. He is on date for baptism and he is awesome. The other person is a girl named Sharon and she is 10. She is super shy but is so sweet and is so nice. Hopefully we can put her on date for baptism soon. My comp is cool and we get along well. We both like sports so some days we will go play basketball again...

Final Week Before G City.

This week has been really good and really fast. I'm getting to the part of the CCM where I am ready to go to the field because everyday is starting to feel the same. This week they started doing tours of the CCM again. Me and a few others got the opportunity to teach a single mom who was forced into coming to the tour by her recently converted mom. You could tell she didn't want to be there. Sometime into the lesson we figured out she wasn't a member. At first I could barely understand anything she was saying. Although it was hard to understand her, the spirit was strong. After the lesson she told us that she felt so peaceful and happy and was super grateful her mom forced her to come. This made me so happy and excited to bring this joy unto the people of Guatemala. Now from what I've been hearing BYU is doing pretty good this year. I know this is normal for BYU to be producing and winning like this but just wanted to remind you all about the best college football team ...

Week 2 Toilet Problems

Hello everyone, this week has been a pretty good week and has been fast. It has been so good to hear from everyone and I love hearing how you guys are doing. This week was not the most eventful but we got to tune in to provo last night and listen to Dieter F Uchtdorf speak live. It was so awesome and the spirit was so strong. Tonight we have 2 general authorities coming to speak in Mexico and we get to do a special choir musical number. (Yes I am in the choir and yes I still cannot sing). I am simply in the choir because almost everyone is and you can really feel the spirit when everyone sings the hymns. I have gotten really close with some of the kids here. Elder Clark has the same humor as me so we are always laughing together. The funniest thing that happened this week was one day for lunch the cafeteria served some bad meat. Luckily I did not eat it and ate other things. The next day almost everyone in the whole MTC was in the bathroom all day. There are around 900 people currently...
