Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing amazing. Not much happened this week and there isn't much to update on sadly. The baptism we set for December 4th is still set so I'm getting excited for her!

With thanksgiving being tomorrow I want to say a few things I'm grateful for! I wanna first start by saying how grateful I am for the gospel. I am so grateful for the happiness and peace it brings me daily knowing there is a plan for me. And so grateful for the knowledge knowing I can live with my family forever. Secondly, I am grateful for a loving family! I am so grateful for all of them and all they have done for me. I am who I am today because of them.  I love you guys! Lastly, I am so grateful for my friends and all of the good memories I have with them. and for the good laughs I have had with them daily!

Anyways, we have this guy who works harvesting crops everyday on his farm. me and my comp love to see who can get him talking about his bananas or crops first without mentioning anything related to it. let's just say he always brings up his fruit to us and once he does, by the end we end up walking out of his house with fresh fruit for the next week which is the best.

That's all for this week!

Quick little scripture for a spiritual thought.

23 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive.

24 And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works.

I love these scriptures from alma! I especially love the end of it telling us to return thanks for whatsoever thing we receive. I think it can be really easy to overlook giving thanks in our prayers and we can get caught up by just asking for things. but i know as we look to giving more thanks for what we have we will realize how much we truly have and how blessed we truly are! i challenge you all to just say a quick prayer only giving thanks and see how quickly you realize all you have been blessed with!

Anyways I love you all and would love to hear from you all! have the best thanksgiving!
