Nueva Santa Rosa Pt 2

What's up everyone? This week was a great one and a super busy week that went by fast and slow depending on the day. it's also been over a week since my last p day so that could be it too. As you guys know, for transfers I'm staying here just with a new companion. My new companion is awesome. He is super nice and very hard working. We don't have as much in common as I did with my last comp but we still find similarities to talk about. This transfer we are covering 2 areas (cassias and nueva) so there is a lot more walking than usual because of how big our area is.

This week we put this little 10 year old girl named Sharon on date for baptism. She's set to get baptized on December 4th which is less than a month away. Sharon is one of my favorites because she is actually the first house I ever knocked on my mission. they opened the door and a month later she is on date! we also are hoping to put a family on date soon.

I am excited to still be here in nueva i love it out here in the country. The fair is going on. It apparently comes around Christmas every year which gets me excited for christmas. I don't know what Christmas will be like this year but I'm super excited to see how it goes. All of the little kids love the fair because it only comes once a year so they're all running around all day at the fair.

I hit my 3 months on the 8th which is crazy haha. Some days I can't believe I've been out this long already and some days it feels about right haha. Overall I love the mission and bringing people to Christ so that they can feel the same happiness I feel.

A little scripture to end the email. Comes from one of my favs and the one my dad sent me this week.

Moroni 7:45

45 And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity, the pure love of Christ. I love this scripture because sometimes it is so hard to show love to others but it can be so simple. but just little acts of service are ways we can show charity. by being more patient with others and by not judging others because they are different from you. These are just little things we do to make others and our days better.

That's all for this week! i love you all and would love to hear from you guys!
