Ronney & Renlund

Hey everyone just wanted to send out a quick email this week was amazing!

We put our friend Ronney on date to be baptized this week on March 11th which will be awesome and if it goes through he will be the first baptism this area has had in over a year so I'm excited for him. He has made so much progress in the last month with quitting cigarettes and drinking coffee. It is so awesome to see the change people are willing to make when they feel the blessings of the gospel.

Another awesome thing is I had immigration for the last time this week and lucked out and saw elder Toone and elder Eli. It was awesome to see Toone from MTC and catch up with him. And awesome to see a little Riverton blood with Eli and catch up with him. 

This week we had the opportunity to hear from an apostle who came to our mission. Elder Renlund from the 12 came by and talked just with our mission and it was so awesome hearing from him and his wife and shaking their hands. They bring the spirit so strongly and have such good advice. 

My favorite thing he talked about was making Jesus our best friend. As I pondered on this I thought about what I liked to do with my best friends. I like to laugh, hangout with them, talk to them, and really just be with them because I know it'll be a good fun time when I am with them. This is the same as when we are friends with Jesus. He wants to spend time and hangout with us, laugh with us, comfort us when we are sad, bless and help us. And just be with us always and I know that when he is with us is when we are truly our happiest. anyways that's all for today looking forward to next week!
