Bat

This week was awesome! It's crazy how every day, my testimony of the gospel continues to grow no matter what happens. The mission truly is the best thing someone can do to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. This week, we saw lots of success finding and teaching people and are hoping to set up 2 more people on a date with Luis, who's currently on a date.

Transfers were this week, and it was so amazing to see all of the missionaries who I have grown to love on the mission again. My new companion is Elder Martinez from El Salvador, and I'm training him!

Training is hard and a little exhausting at times, but it is definitely the learning experience I needed. It has helped me realize the aspects of missionary work I need to improve on as well, which is awesome. My companion loves to cook, so it's a bonus having him make food from El Salvador every day. When he doesn't cook, the elder from Mexico usually ends up doing something, so it's been great to try different types of food.

This week, as we were eating dinner, a bat decided to fly into the house. It's not the first time it's happened, but usually they fly right out. However, this one decided to stick around and try its luck. Sadly for the bat, the Canadian who lives with us won, and the bat lost. It was killed with a broom.

I know that Jesus lives and that our lives are so much better with Him in it!
