Miracles

Hey y'all, just a short little email this week for those of you still plugging along. This week was definitely unexpected, but a good week!

This upcoming Sunday, we were supposed to have the baptism of Luis, as some of you may know. Well, this week we went to his house and started talking to his grandma, who is an inactive member, about his baptism. She began telling us how unprepared he is, which made him super shy and closed off. After that day, he has been completely different and nervous to talk to us, so his baptismal date has fallen.

I was pretty bummed about this and down, as I was looking forward to his baptism. However, the next day, we set 3 baptismal dates that weren't expected at all! So now, we are still trying to work with Luis to get him baptized, but also working with these other 3 people to help them get baptized. It was truly a miracle to set all 3 of these people on a date in one day, as it was our first day visiting 2 of them.

It just goes to show that God really is in the details of our everyday life and has people waiting to receive the gospel. We must just go and find them.

Love you all,

Elder Carter
