One Year

Well, this certainly was a really busy week and a good week. The busier you are, the happier you are on the mission, and the faster the days pass.

This week, I hit one year as a missionary, which is so crazy. It's awesome to be able to serve the Lord and see Him bless people every day. It's crazy how fast time goes, and I'm grateful for the next year I get to serve the Lord.

This week, we had zone conference, and it's always the biggest refresher to hear from the President and his wife and just soak in everything they have to say.

This week, we passed by a pig getting killed. The guy apparently kills one every Friday and sells it. Here, they keep the blood and sell it, which is pretty weird to be honest. I'll drop some pics of the pig.

We also had a branch activity, and it was so fun and funny. We had a water balloon activity which ended in a huge water balloon fight, which was awesome. We also had a piñata, and they go insane with piñatas here. The piñata was flying from side to side and nailing blindfolded kids in the face, which was hilarious. One piñata hit a kid so hard in the face, his head cracked open the piñata, and all the candy came out—haha.

For my Canadian missionary friends, the Canadian I'm living with made us poutine, and it's amazing.

That's all for this week. Love you all and hope you're all doing well!
