General Conference

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing amazing. Just thought I would give a little update on how everything's been since it's been a while.

The mission has been great, and things have been going well. I can truly say that I've grown in this short amount of time more than any other span of time in my life.

Last week, I had to say goodbye to a few elders before they went home, including my first trainer who has become one of my best friends on the mission. It was sad to see them go, but I know it won't be the last time I see them.

We haven't been up to much different than the normal besides that general conference was this week. General conference was amazing and really the spiritual boost that I needed. Of course, I loved the prophet's talk, but I also loved the talk about the 10 virgins. We must work every day as hard as we can to squeeze out every drop of oil we can, to keep our testimony strong and keep us on the right path.

We've gotten the chance to play lots of basketball lately with the ward and investigators, and it has been awesome. They don't play great here or really know what they're doing, but it's been nice to be able to play again. Haha.
